Apple has not even officially confirmed plans to launch the iPad mini, but rumoured pricing and configuration details for the much-hyped tablet have leaked online.
The iPad mini will be available in 16 different configurations, according to an inventory screen shot obtained by a German tech blogger. The screen shot, which reportedly came from the internal systems of European electronics retailer Media Market, indicates that the 7-inch tablet will be available in black and white with storage options of 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. Despite rumours to the contrary, the iPad mini will come in Wi-Fi and cellular versions, the image suggests.

The screen shot lists pricing for the various configurations in euros, with the base Wi-Fi-only 8GB model starting at 249 euros, which comes out to about $320. Pricing goes all the way up to 649 euros, or $840, for the high-end 64GB cellular iteration.
Tech site pointed out that U.S. pricing is not so cut-and-dry, however. Apple may very well take the exchange rate into account and charge $320 for the base model here in the U.S. Or, the Cupertino tech giant may just morph Euros to dollars, like it does with the third-generation iPad, and charge around $250 for the base Wi-Fi 8GB iPad mini. This would put pricing for the entry-level iPad mini on-par with the 32GB Kindle Fire HD or the 16GB Nexus 7.
Apple is expected to unveil the scaled-down tablet at a press event on Tuesday, Oct. 23, so stay tuned for details as they emerge.
